"Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast, to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak." William Congreve

What would we do without music? It expresses what we sometimes cannot.

Renee-life isn't fair anyway. Music makes it tolerable. sometimes even good. Love ya! ~rick

I love music, but I would have to change that to art, or friends or love or cats :-). Love you Renee.

Good morning Renee. I've been thinking and praying a lot about your scan results, and praying for peace of soul for you.

Peace be with you, my friend.

All my love, Deb

I agree completely - it is cathartic. Music and art make me believe in God. And there seems to be a type of music for every mood and need. :) I just realized that I have music on while I do my art, but not when I write. Never thought about it before! Love to you my friend, sending you sweet songs! xoxo Pam

Hi Renee, life without music would definitely be dull. Why music is the soul of our being. It invigorates us, refreshes our soul so to speak. Sometimes it makes us sad, mellow, blue, but what would it be like without music. I don't want to know. I would still be going around la la la la la la la la lallaaaaaaaaa :O hee/haw Have a great day and my thoughts are with you.

Kolleen said...

couldn't agree more sister! i have music on all my waking hours...it is my therapy.

Alexandra MacVean said...

I could not imagine my life without music in form or fashion. Music is the center of my life. I not only love to listen to it, but I also write songs and sing professionally. My heart is filled with warmth when I am able to share that gift/ability with others.

((hugs))

Strike up the band! Funny how we take music, and natural sounds for granted; when they are gone, when we notice their absence, we are in need of comfort, in need of resuscitation.

p.s.

I still hear my mother's lullabies sometimes as I'm preparing meals. I left home when I was a teen; saw Mom a couple times after that; my longing for her is connected to her songs, and her food.

Or indeed much fun. I think if we didn't have it, someone would be bound to invent it!

Micki Wilde said...

Totally true, I have laughed, loved and cried all through music!

Without music life would not be, period.

Any news from the postman? Do I have to smack those Florentine mail for not doing the job right?

Ciao musical Renee, my heart is always with you.

Life with out you would not be fair either.
Thank you for being music in my life.
Oh Renee I probably love Halloween more because I manufactured for retail for so many years. By the time Christmas came I was a puddle of speechless incoherence. I also think it is because I could be childlike and carefree, dress up as a witch and get away with it. LOL!!
Madi is so full of love that she will just add Bella to the rest of you wonderful aunties. She indeed feels very very blessed to have you all.

Marie S said...

Hi Auntie Renee, thank you for stopping at grandmas to see me.
I hope you are doing well!!
smooches and baby hugs,
Madi

I was just going to say that I cannot live without noise or music in my life then realised that I'm sitting here at 8:04 on a Sunday morning listening to nothing but birdsong and wind chimes. I guess there's music in everything. It's quite charming actually.. .dance today sweet Renee even if it's only on the inside. Thinking of you.

Arija said...

On the other hand, there is music is everywhere, in the wind and the water let alove the birds in the air.

Life can be desperately unfair even with music. It's just that music can hlep heal you when life is being so unfair.

Without music, life would not be. The harmony of nature, along with the lyrics within us bring us to existence. (Time for me to tamper out this joint.) JUST KIDDING!!!

I don't smoke dope. Did once. It made me stupid...and I don't like stupid, and not being in control of myself.

Big hug,
-Mad
